Privacy policy

This policy explains what data we collect through the ConoceRD waitlist and what we do with it. It is the only collection of personal data this site does today: the mobile app has not been released yet.

Who is responsible

ConoceRD (Santiago, Dominican Republic). For anything related to your data, write to contacto@conocerd.app.

What data we collect

• Your email address (required).
• If you sign up as a business: the business name and type and, if you give it, a WhatsApp number.
• The source of the signup(for example, whether you came through an event's QR code) and the date and time of your consent.

We don't ask for documents, we don't charge anything and we don't use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

What we use it for

• To let you know when the app is available and give you the early access and the founder badge promised when you signed up.
• To send you news about the project, always related to ConoceRD.
• To understand, in aggregate, which channel each signup came from.

The basis for processing your data is your consent, which you give by checking the box on the form. We keep the date you gave it.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers we need to operate: Resend (sending emails and managing the list), Neon (database) and Vercel(site hosting). We don't sell or hand over your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If the project never launches, we delete the list.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it or delete it, and to withdraw your consent. Every email we send you includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us at contacto@conocerd.app. Unsubscribing has no consequence beyond no longer receiving our emails.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. If the change affects how we use data you already gave us, we will let you know by email before applying it.
